Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Article Structure (Numbered, Times New Roman, bold, 12 pt)

Text (Times New Roman, 12 pt). Article should be divided into clearly defined sections with heading and numbered 1, 2, 3 etc. Standard Article format must be used for preparing a manuscript including introduction explaining the nature of the problem under investigation, its background and importance of the work, a complete experimental section (if applicable), results and discussion, and the conclusion of the work which summarizes the main finding of the research.

1.1       Subsection (Numbered, Times New Roman, 12 pt)

In case of subsections, use the style 1.1 (then 1.1.1,1.1.2,..), 1.2, 1.3, etc. Each heading should appear on its own separate line.

  1. Math Formulae

Please submit math equations as editable text and not as images. It is highly recommended to submit the articles from science and Mathematics in LaTeX. Any equations that have to be mentioned later in the article should be numbered consecutively.

  1. Artwork

Tables and figures including graphs, illustrations, diagrams and other graphics can increase the impact of your research and at the same time they can convey ideas more effectively. No modifications or enhancement will be made by editorial team, hence the quality of artwork in the journal depends only on the quality of the original files supplied by authors. However, following general points must be followed.

3.1       Instructions for images

  • Graphics should be inserted into the main body
  • Number the artworks according to their sequence in the manuscript.
  • Ensure that each illustration has a caption.
  • All artworks should be having enough resolution.
  • Any text, numerical data or scale bars in the artwork should be clearly legible and sized appropriately.
  • Not contain any elements that are offensive or inappropriate, in particular words or images that are discriminatory
  • Give appropriate credit for any copyrighted graphics that has been reused from an earlier publication. Authors should obtain the permission to re-use this material from the corresponding publishers before submitting the article.

3.2       Instructions for tables

  • Insert tables next to the relevant text in the article as possible.
  • Number the tables consecutively as their sequence in the manuscript.
  • Submit tables as editable text.
  • All text in the table should be readable and formatted suitable for the standard of the scholarly journal.
  • Table captions (if any) must be placed above the respective tables and formatted uniformly.
  1. Acknowledgements

Insert acknowledgements in a separate session at the end of the article before the references.

  1. References

Authors please ensure that all references cited in the text are also present in the reference list. Unpublished results and personal communications are not endorsed in the reference list. Authors should follow instructions given below for reference styling.

  • Indicate reference in the manuscript by reference number in square brackets in line with the text in the manuscript. If more than one reference needs to indicate, use commas to separate the reference numbers in the square bracket. Example:…..[3,4]
  • Number the references in the reference list in same order as they appear first in the manuscript.
